The Widow's Walk was constructed in 1998 to be an ice creamery. We purchased the property in 2006 and have been serving your favorite ice cream treats since then. A friend and former owner, designed the home combining architectural elements from the classic Victorian homes on the East coast and the Hemingway home in Key West Florida. The home now includes a private residence on the top floors, and The Widow's Peak Salon, which is located on the main floor of the home. You can enjoy walk up window service from the shop in the back. Feel free to enjoy our beautiful courtyards and porch, or make a day of it when you rent a bicycle from us and enjoy a leisurely ride along the Ohio River Greenway or around Louisville's Waterfront Park.. You can bike to the Falls of the Ohio State Park, to the Lewis and Clark Memorial Park, to the Howard Steamboat Museum, and to all of the great shops on Spring Street in Jeffersonville, and now you are able to bike across the Ohio on the Big Four Pedestrian Bridge. Come out and enjoy one of our 22 flavors of hand dipped ice creams, speciality shakes or sundaes in our tranquil gardens. We suggest you try our Proud Mary’s Peanut Butter Cup Sundae.
