For centuries, Bank Street has beckoned locals and visitors to settle in and stay a while. This short, remarkably resilient, well-worn path that runs from The Green to the railroad, offers a stomping ground where locally-owned businesses are treasured, and where you can find the latest novel, a frothy cappuccino, a day at the spa, or an escape into a film at the historic Bank Street Theater. Salsa is delighted to join the neighborhood. Our new address, 31 Bank Street, was originally built in 1885, but tragically burned to the ground as The Lincoln House, a hotel and restaurant, in the great fire of 1902. It has seen many incarnations over the years, from a furniture store to a bank, to decades of fine restaurants, and even performed as the 2005 set of Mr. Deeds, a feature film starring Adam Sandler. If these old brick walls could talk, they would surely spin tales illuminating the personal history of New Milford
