House of Bagels Central Coast is a locally owned and operated bagel establishment. The owners moved to the central coast with the idea of getting out of the high tech space they had been working in and to an area and life style that was more fulfilling, rewarding, and with better work-life balance. The bagel part came about after assessing the absence of a boil and bake bagel shop in the North County or San Luis Obispo. Their love for a great bagel and a friendly neighborhood deli was something they felt was really needed in the area. The first bagel shop was opened in Paso Robles in 2005 as a contract store where frozen dough bagels were delivered weekly and boiled and baked daily.
