Backyard BBQ & Restaurant combines great flavors and experienced business leaders with a new location and name. Backyard BBQ opened this April at 454 East Baltimore Street. The facility was completely remodeled into a spacious, 48-seat restaurant with a handicap-accessible parking lot in front. The business is owned and operated by Harry Dougherty Jr., his wife JoAnn, their daughter Tracey Godfrey, and her husband Scott. On the restaurant menu, Dougherty and Godfrey have combined over 60 years of experience in cooking to bring tasty options to customers. The Backyard BBQ menu includes ribs, pulled chicken and pork, beef BBQ, seafood, fresh hamburger and hot dogs. Fresh French fries, sweet potato fries and homemade pit salads are accompaniment items.
