About Restaurant
Six years ago Richard opened Rachel’s American Bistro. Under his guidance as chef and owner Rachel’s developed a
following for it's soups and chicken pot pie which at the time was called one of the top dishes in the city under $10 by daily news food critic Arthur Schwarz. In 1999 Richard opened a third restaurant in the theater district which featured seafood and was called Sag Harbor. It was at that restaurant that he created his Lobster Butternutsquash bisque. In November of 2010, Richard opened the Soup Bowl of Park Slope at the Location where Uncle Louie G sells Ice cream during the summer months. The soup bowl was an instant success and will be returning to that location this November 1
