Built in 1929 as a fuel storage facility for the Geer Oil Company, this beautiful building features a very tall vaulted ceiling, interior brick walls and polished wood. Very high windows provide lots of Morehead City sunshine and the brick patio looks out onto the commercial fishing boats. Chefs 105 is a contemporary waterfront restaurant and Oyster Bar. Chef Andy Hopper describes the menu as local, sustainable, fresh, and seasonal. We have a wood burning grill that gives a great flavor to all the meats and fish. The outdoor patio is perfect for evening cocktails and dinner, and we have an upstairs lounge area overlooking the Morehead City waterfront. Our Oyster Bar is located in the rear of the restaurant with more of a casual bar atmosphere. It has been a great gathering place for any sporting event, big groups of people, or a place to get steamed oysters in season. In the summer months, we have have live music on the patio on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Chefs 105 welcomes anyone who loves food and enjoys being in an active atmosphere!
